Caroline S. Harwood,女,博士,美国科学院院士,美国华盛顿大学教授,博士生导师,青岛农业大学“特聘教授”,“山东省高端外国专家”。

Caroline S. Harwood博士于2000年当选为美国微生物学会资深会员,2008年当选为美国科学促进会(AAAS)资深会员,2009年被评为美国科学院院士(Elected Member, National Academy of Sciences),2010年获宝洁公司应用环境微生物学奖。Harwood院士在微生物生理学及生物能源领域享有国际声誉。其研究工作已在国际著名期刊(如Science, Nature, Nature Biotechnology, PNAS, mBio, Nucleic Acids Research, Curr.Opinion in Microbiol., Appl. Environ. Microbiol. J. Bacteriol.等)发表SCI论文100多篇,其中单篇文章最高他引次数达500多次。目前正在主持来自美国能源部(DOE)、国家卫生研究所、陆军研究局、美国国家科学基金等多项课题,总经费达450多万美元。
